Chennai, February 13, 2010: TAKE Solutions Ltd. (BSE CODE NO: 532890), leaders in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Life Sciences, in association with the Loyola Institute of Business Administration's (LIBA) Center of Logistics & Supply Chain Management & ARISTA – The operations club of LIBA, organized a Supply Chain Colloquium at the business school's Chennai campus yesterday. In its second successful year, the seminar focused on the ‘Contemporary issues in Supply Chain management' and discussed the subject matter in-depth highlighting the industry scenario by experts.
The one day long seminar was attended by students, faculty and industry professionals. The various sessions were addressed by Mr. Josh Foulger, Head-India Sourcing, Nokia India and Mr. Venkata Subramanian, Managing Director of eFarm. Fr P. Christie, Director, LIBA, welcomed the gathering. The vote of thanks and concluding remarks were presented by Dr. Chandrasekaran N, Vice President-Corporate Affairs, TAKE Solutions Ltd.
Students got interesting insights into key industry pain points like Responsible procurement and Sourcing and Agriculture Supply Chain Practices. The colloquium also had an interactive open forum where delegates were seen airing concerns and queries about the Supply Chain market, the Industry Potential and Employability potential among other things.
