NTPC FPO receives 0.77 times subscription

The Follow-On Public Offering (FPO) of NTPC Limited which opened for subscription by investors on Wednesday - February 3, 2010 has received subscription of 0.77 times.

The company has come out with FPO of 412,273,220 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a floor price of Rs 201 through 100% book building process. The FPO closes for subscription on February 5, 2010.

The issue received total bids for 319011196 equity shares against the offer of 412273220 equity shares resulting in a subscription of 0.77 times.

The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion of the issue received bids for 316033508 equity shares against the offer of 204000000 equity shares resulting in a subscription of 1.5492 times.

The Non Institutional Investors portion of the issue received subscription of 0.0409 times with bids for 2504516 equity shares against the offer of 61200000 equity shares.

The Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion of the issue received bids for 452872 equity shares against the offer of 142800000 equity shares resulting in a subscription of 0.0032 times.

The Employee Reservation portion of the issue has received subscription of 0.0048 times with bids for 20300 equity shares against the offer of 4273220 equity shares.
