President Pratibha Patil greets nation on New Year

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted the nation on the eve of the New Year 2010.

In a Message, the President said, "On the occasion of the New Year, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens.

May this New Year bring joy and prosperity to everyone. Let us also dedicate ourselves to ensure the welfare and progress of our nation and all its people by strengthening the bonds of mutual trust and compassion."
