Assam Company buys back FCCBs worth US$4 million

Assam Company Ltd has bought back, through open market operation, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), of US $4 million at a discount.

The Company's outstanding FCCBs due 2011 as on date stands at US $ 40.70 million.

The stock was trading at Rs.20.10, down by Rs.0.40 or 1.95%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.20.95 and low of Rs.20.

The total traded quantity was 249800 compared to 2 week average of 2557172.
