The Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters have traced the helicopter in which Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was travelling. An Air Force official stated on Thursday morning that the chopper has been traced in a dense forest.
The helicopter has been located and on top of a hill. The chopper is located at a distance of 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool.
The IAF helicopters are circling the area and looking for a place to land. But, the chopper is on top of a hill in a jungle which makes difficult for them to land.
The Union Government has confirmed that CM's chopper has crashed and 5 people are killed in the accident alongwith YSR Reddy. The deceased include YSR Reddy, his personal security officer, secretary and 2 pilots.
