              The Trustees of Tata Mutual Fund have approved the declaration of dividend under the dividend option of Tata Gilt Short Maturity Fund - Dividend Plan. The Face Value of the fund is Rs 10 per unit.
The Record Date for the purpose of dividend distribution has been fixed as March 19, 2009. The Gross dividend declared per unit is Rs 0.1995.
The NAV of Dividend option of Tata Gilt Short Maturity Fund - Dividend Plan as on March 12, 2009 is Rs 11.1758. Considering the volatile nature of markets, Board of Trustees reserves the right to restrict the quantum of dividend upto the per unit distributable surplus available on the record date. This includes dividend distribution tax and statutory levys.
Pursuant to the payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy (if applicable).
All unit holders holding units under the above option of the scheme at start of record date shall be entitled to dividend. All unitholders under the above option of the scheme who submit valid redemptions / switch-out requests till 3 PM on record date i.e. March 19, 2009 will be entitled to receive the dividend.
