Former Indian President R Venkataraman remains Critical

Former President of India Shri R Venkataraman remains in a critical condition, a spokesman of the Army Hospital Research and Referral, said here on Monday.

The Ninety-eight year–old Shri Venkataraman was admitted to the hospital on 12th January with delirium and dehydration. He was found to have E-Coli urinary tract infection and sepsis.

Shri Venkataraman also has evidence of pneumonia and respiratory failure for which he is on respiratory support. A team of physicians is constantly monitoring his health.
