              The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has announced changes in the constituents of S&P CNX Nifty, CNX Nifty Junior, CNX IT and CNX 100 indices w.e.f. January 12, 2009. The announcement comes close on the heels of IT major Sataym Computers announcing serious financial irregularities in its boks.
The Satyam Computer Services Ltd will be replaced by ADAG group company Reliance Capital Ltd in S&P CNX Nifty Index.
In CNX Nifty Junior Index, Reliance Capital Ltd will be replaced by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Satyam Computer Services Ltd will be replaced in CNX 100 Index by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
In CNX IT Index, Satyam Computer Services Ltd will be replaced by Core Projects & Technologies Ltd.
