Ceat to sell 7 acres land at Bhandup, Mumbai

Ceat Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 31, 2006, has decided to sell around 7 acres of land at Bhandup, Mumbai, subject to the Company receiving all the necessary approvals.

The Company has about 32 acres of land at Bhandup. Out of this, Tyre Plant at Bhandup occupies nearly 25 acres. The above decision, therefore, has no impact on workmen/existing factory operations.
