LIC Housing Finance Ltd. (LICHFL) has announced its standalone audited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The housing finance major reported steady growth in profitability, driven by an expansion in total disbursements and asset quality improvements.

For Q1 FY27, LIC Housing Finance reported a Net Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹1,488.32 crore, representing a 9.4% year-on-year increase compared to ₹1,359.92 crore in Q1 FY26.
Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹7,062.45 crore, down 1% YoY compared to ₹7,169.32 crore in Q1 FY26.
Net Interest Income (NII): Increased marginally by 0.5% YoY to ₹2,075.52 crore from ₹2,064.71 crore in Q1 FY26.
Net Interest Margin (NIM): Came in at 2.58% for the quarter, compared to 2.68% in Q1 FY26.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rose 11% year-on-year to ₹1,888.43 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹1,699.16 crore in Q1 FY26.
Operational Performance & Disbursement Trends
Total disbursements grew 14.5% year-on-year to ₹15,014 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹13,116 crore in Q1 FY26.
Individual Home Loans: Disbursements reached ₹12,119 crore, up 8% YoY from ₹11,247 crore in Q1 FY26.
Non-Housing Individual Loans: Disbursements increased 20% YoY to ₹1,975 crore, up from ₹1,647 crore in Q1 FY26.
Project Loans: Surged 459% YoY to ₹872 crore, compared to ₹156 crore in Q1 FY26.
Loan Portfolio & Asset Quality
The total outstanding loan portfolio expanded 4% year-on-year to ₹3,22,098 crore as of June 30, 2026, up from ₹3,09,587 crore a year earlier.
Individual Home Loan Portfolio: Stood at ₹2,71,979 crore (up 4% YoY from ₹2,62,411 crore).
Project Loan Portfolio: Stood at ₹9,687 crore (up 8% YoY from ₹8,950 crore).
Asset Quality & ECL Provisions: Stage 3 Exposure at Default (EAD) improved to 2.14% as of June 30, 2026, down from 2.62% as of June 30, 2025. Provisions for Expected Credit Loss (ECL) stood at ₹4,398.43 crore, compared to ₹5,051.27 crore a year earlier.
