LIC Housing announces Q2 net profit of Rs.75.93 Crores

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced the following unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 759.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 583.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 3102.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 3843.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
