Mahindra Auto clocks 50,946 SUVs and 86,090 total vehicle sales in December 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India's leading automotive companies, today announced that its overall auto sales for the month of December 2025 stood at 86,090 vehicles, a growth of 25% including exports.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 50,946 vehicles in the domestic market, a growth of 23% and overall, 86,090 vehicles, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 24,786, a growth of 34%.

Passenger Vehicles Sales Summary (Domestic) - December 2025

Utility Vehicles: 50,946 units in December FY26, up 23% from 41,424 units in December FY25. Year-to-date (YTD) sales hit 476,476 units, a 18% rise from 402,360 units.

Cars + Vans: 0 units (unchanged).

Total Passenger Vehicles: 50,946 units in December FY26 (+23% YoY); YTD: 476,476 units (+18% YoY).

Commercial Vehicles and 3-Wheelers Sales Summary (Domestic) - December 2025

LCV <2T: 2,720 units in December FY26 (+13% YoY from 2,409); YTD: 27,416 units (-4% YoY from 28,634).

LCV 2T-3.5T: 22,066 units in December FY26 (+37% YoY from 16,139); YTD: 185,012 units (+16% YoY from 159,738).

3-Wheelers (including electric): 7,538 units in December FY26 (+31% YoY from 5,750); YTD: 82,446 units (+28% YoY from 64,233).

Exports - December 2025

Total Exports: 2,820 units in December FY26 (-9% YoY from 3,092); YTD: 30,061 units (+25% YoY from 24,048).

M&M's SUV dominance continues to fuel growth, while strong performances in mid-size LCVs and 3-wheelers offset softer small LCVs and exports. The company remains bullish on its expanding electric and export portfolios heading into FY26.

According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., "Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! The calendar year 2025 ended on a positive note, with Mahindra clocking its highest-ever volumes in both SUVs and LCVs (<3.5T) segments, a significant milestone for the company.

In December, we achieved SUV sales of 50,946 units, a growth of 23% and LCV< 3.5T sales of 24,786 units, a growth of 34%. The total vehicle sales stand at 86,090 units, a 25% year-on-year growth."
