Angel One November 2025 Update: Client Base Hits 35M Amid M-o-M Trading Declines, Strong Y-o-Y Surge

Angel One, a leading Indian brokerage firm, released key operational metrics for November 2025, showing mixed month-over-month (M-o-M) declines amid robust year-over-year (Y-o-Y) growth in several areas. The data highlights resilience in client funding and commodity turnover despite fewer trading days and reduced order volumes.

Client and Funding Growth

The client base expanded to 35.08 million, up 1.5% M-o-M from 34.57 million and 21.9% Y-o-Y from 28.78 million. Average client funding book reached Rs. 59.50 billion, reflecting 2.7% M-o-M and a strong 50.1% Y-o-Y increase. Gross client acquisitions dipped to 0.50 million, down 11.1% M-o-M and 16.6% Y-o-Y.

Trading Activity Metrics

Number of orders fell to 117.30 million, a 12.3% M-o-M drop from 133.76 million and 10.4% Y-o-Y decline from 130.96 million, with average daily orders at 6.17 million over 19 trading days. Angel One's overall average daily turnover (ADTO) based on notional value stood at Rs. 53,486 billion, down 9.8% M-o-M but up 25.4% Y-o-Y; F&O ADTO was Rs. 51,752 billion. Cash ADTO decreased 7.5% M-o-M to Rs. 73 billion, while commodity ADTO rose 129.3% Y-o-Y to Rs. 1,661 billion.

Market Share Performance

Retail turnover market share based on option premium was 20.3% overall (down 24 basis points M-o-M) and 21.5% in F&O (down 13 bps M-o-M). Cash market share slipped to 18.3% from 18.7%, though up 109 bps Y-o-Y, while commodity share fell sharply to 52.5% (down 258 bps M-o-M and 719 bps Y-o-Y). Unique mutual fund SIPs registered totaled 737,830, down 9.4% M-o-M but up 13.3% Y-o-Y.

Shares of Angel One Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2813.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2762.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 132859 in over 2977 trades.
