PTC Industries receives Purchase Order from GTRE for Single Crystal 'Ready-to-Fit' Turbine Blades

PTC Industries Limited ("PTC"), a leading Indian manufacturer of highperformance materials and precision-engineered components for critical aerospace and defence applications, has received a Purchase Order from the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for Post-Cast Operations to manufacture Single Crystal 'Ready-to-Fit' Turbine Blades. The announcement was made in the presence of Honourable Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh Ji and Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath Jiat the Lokarpan Ceremony of the Titanium & Superalloys Materials Plant at PTC's Strategic Materials Technology Complex (SMTC) in Lucknow.

This order marks a historic milestone - the first time any Indian company has been entrusted with Post-Cast Operations including machining, grinding, brazing, vacuum heat treatment, thermal barrier coating, and powder vapour deposition, of Single Crystal 'Ready-to-Fit' Turbine Blades, a capability possessed by only a handful of organisations worldwide.

The Purchase Order strengthens the strategic collaboration between GTRE and PTC, underscoring the Government of India's vision for indigenisation and self-reliance under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. It also reflects GTRE's confidence in PTC's advanced casting, heat-treatment, and machining expertise for mission-critical aerospace components that must perform in extreme temperature and stress environments.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries, said: "This order from GTRE represents a moment of national significance and industrial pride. The execution of this order will draw upon the combined strengths of PTC's advanced manufacturing infrastructure in India and the end-to-end process capabilities available through its UK-based subsidiary, Trac Precision Solutions, ensuring seamless delivery of the Ready-to-fit Single Crystal Turbine Blades and Vanes.

Over the years, PTC Industries has emerged as a trusted partner to India's defence and aerospace establishments, supplying mission-critical components to organisations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), DRDO, and BrahMos. PTC also exports Titanium and Superalloy castings to leading global OEMs including Safran, Dassault Aviation, BAE Systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), making it a strategic link between India's industrial capabilities and global aerospace supply chains.

Shares of PTC Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 16989.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 16835.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 522 in over 210 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 17152.00 and intraday low of 16661.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 8893522.00.
