Grasim Industries Ltd commissions Birla Opus Paints new plant at Kharagpur

Grasim Industries Limited has announced the commencement of commercial production of Birla Opus Paints plant at Kharagpur (West Bengal) on 15 October 2025.

With the commencement of commercial production at our Kharagpur plant as mentioned above, all of our 6 green-field plants have commenced commercial production and our installed capacity of decorative paints sold under the brand "Birla Opus" has reached to 1,332 Million Litres Per Annum (MLPA).

Shares of Grasim Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2774.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2795.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 20294 in over 2033 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2804.65 and intraday low of 2760.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 56277839.00.
