POCL Enterprises Ltd obtains LME Brand Listing Certificate

POCL ENTERPRISES LIMITED has obtained London Metal Exchange Brand Listing Certificate from the London Metal Exchange (LME) for the lead metal produced at our Alloying and Refining Division located at B 19 and 20, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Maraimalai Nagar, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu - 603209, under the brand name "POEL LEAD".

The LME registration is recognized world-wide as one of the most demanding standards and signifies highest standards in product consistency and physical characteristics. LME brands are the most accepted and traded brands across the Globe. With this milestone, POEL becomes one of the few Indian secondary lead smelters to be registered with the LME, underscoring our commitment to quality and global standards.

Furthermore, the above division of the Company is already empanelled with Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) since January 2024, and the Company's refined lead is already deliverable at MCX warehouses under the same brand name - POEL.

Now, with this LME Brand listing, the "POEL LEAD" produced by the Company further become standard deliverable Lead metal into any LME warehouse globally, in addition to being deliverable on MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) in India. This recognition significantly enhances our credibility in the international metals market and paves the way for substantial new business opportunities worldwide. With this LME registration in hand, the Company has already secured a contract for the supply of 15,000 MT of refined lead ingots from international market players and is looking forward for upcoming opportunities.
