Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new property in Maharashtra

Lemon Tree Hotels announces its latest signing - Lemon Tree Resort, Pench, Maharashtra. This property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

Lemon Tree Wildlife Resort, Pench, Maharashtra will feature 60 well-appointed rooms. To cater to its guests, the resort will also feature a restaurant, a banquet, a swimming pool, a spa and other recreational facilities. The Nagpur Airport is approximately 85 kms away from the property, while the Nagpur Railway Station is about 62 kms away. The hotel is well connected by roadways for both public and private transport.

Located in the heart of India, the forest area of Pench is contiguously shared by two Indian states, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Named after the River Pence which flows through the park, Pench National Park is one of the most popular wildlife reserves in India. Spread over a massive area of 758 sq km, it forms the backdrop of 'The Jungle Book', the well-known novel by Rudyard Kipling, which has contributed much to the park's popularity. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot the Royal Bengal tiger, jackal, peafowl, wild boar, sloth bear, Indian leopard, striped hyena, four-horned antelope, Indian wolf, and a host of other animals. In 1975 and 1992, the sanctuary got the recognition of national park and tiger reserve, respectively.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 172.00 and intraday low of 164.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 94757228.00.
