BEL receives Rs. 1640 Crore Order for Air Defence Fire Control Radars (Atulva) from Indian Army

Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has signed a contract with Ministry of Defence valued at Rs. 1640 Crore (excluding taxes) for supply of Air Defence Fire Control Radars to Indian Army. These indigenous radars designed by DRDO and manufactured by BEL provide effective defence against air threats during day and night under all weather conditions. These radars having inbuilt ECM capabilities are used for surveillance, acquisition,tracking of air targets and control of air defence guns for effective neutralization. The system is modular by design and is easy to deploy, operate and maintain.

Shares of Bharat Electronics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 395.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 398.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 532641 in over 8323 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 400.70 and intraday low of 393.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 210938235.00.
