HCC bags Pranahita-Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme order worth Rs 639.27 Crore

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has announced that HCC-SEW-MEIL JV i.e. Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd (HCC), SEW Infrastructure Ltd and Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd) (MEIL) has been awarded a contract for construction of Barrage of around 3.5 km with Head Regulator across River Pranahita (PCLIS - Package-III) near Tummidi Hetti Village in Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh, from Government of Andhra Pradesh, Irrigation and CAD Department.

The value of the contract is Rs 639.27 Crore. The Company's share in the total value of the contract is 51% i.e. Rs 326.03 Crore.

The stock was trading at Rs.91.80, down by Rs.1 or 1.08%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.94.85 and low of Rs.89.65.

The total traded quantity was 709195 compared to 2 week average of 1034099.
