Coal India Ltd and UPRVUNL sign non-binding MoU

Coal India Ltd (CIL) and U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) have executed a nonbinding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 05.05.2025 at Lucknow with an intent of setting of 500 MW Solar Power project in Uttar Pradesh as a part of Green and Renewable Energy Initiatives of CIL and to meet the growing energy demand and ensure energy security for the state of Uttar Pradesh. The MoU also includes provision for any additional opportunities which the parties mutually agree to collaborate in the foreseeable future.

Shares of Coal India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 385.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 384.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 633836 in over 14471 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 387.90 and intraday low of 382.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 244376757.00.
