Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new property in Pune

Lemon Tree Hotels announced its latest signing - Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune. The property, which shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, is expected to open in FY 2026.

Pune is one of the major cities of Maharashtra and is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and modern development. It is often called the "Oxford of the East" because of its numerous prestigious educational institutions, including Savitribai Phule Pune University, Fergusson College, Symbiosis International University and various engineering and management colleges. Pune boasts a youthful, cosmopolitan atmosphere that blends traditional Maharashtrian and modern urban lifestyles. With a combination of history, education, industry, and culture, it is one of India's most dynamic cities.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune will feature 117 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, banquet facilities, a swimming pool and a spa. The Pune International Airport is about 21 kms from the property while Pune Railway Station is about 20 kms away. The hotel is also well connected by roadways for both public and private transport.

Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO - Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels said on the occasion, "We are excited to share the expansion of our portfolio in Pune where we have four existing properties across upscale to midscale brands. This addition will complement our existing twelve hotels and three upcoming properties in Maharashtra."

Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 130.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 130.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 403250 in over 3947 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 134.45 and intraday low of 129.90. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 53429414.00.
