NTPC's total capacity increases to 75858 MW

Based on achievement of approved norms and due approvals, Unit-2 of 660 MW of 1320 MW (2x660 MW) Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant (MSTPP) at Rampal, Mongla, Bagerhat of BangladeshIndia Friendship Power Company (Pvt.) Limited is included in the installed & commercial capacity of NTPC Group w.e.f. 12.03.2024.

Unit-1 of 660 MW of 1320 MW (2x660) Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant (MSTPP) had already been included in the installed & commercial capacity of NTPC Group w.e.f. 23.12.2022.

With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group has now become 75858 MW.

Shares of NTPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 335.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 330.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 469325 in over 6294 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 340.00 and intraday low of 330.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 157805477.00.
