Organic Recycling Systems Ltd updates on development of Sanjeevak Carbonisation System

Organic Recycling Systems Ltd has in-house developed the Sanjeevak Carbonisation System (SCS) that efficiently turns biomass into charcoal. This technology employs an environmentally sustainable process compared to traditional coal or gas-powered machines as it optimizes resources and utilises electricity to convert biomass into charcoal. It is available in various capacities suitable for small-scale businesses in India, offering a cleaner and more efficient option for industries aiming to reduce their environmental impact. The process is called Carbonisation, as it is the carbon-rich organic compounds within the biomass that get converted into charcoal. This primarily includes cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin the main structural components of plant material. These compounds undergo a series of chemical reactions under controlled heating, ultimately leaving behind a residue that is primarily composed of carbon. This process drives off volatile components like water, methane, and tar, concentrating the carbon content into the feedstock and resulting in the production of charcoal.
