Digital Broking Pioneer, Mr. Yagnesh Parikh Joins the Board of Asit C Mehta Financial Services Limited

Asit C. Mehta Financial Services Limited (BSE Scrip Code: 530723) announced the appointment of Mr. Yagnesh Parikh on its Board of Directors today. Mr. Parikh is a pioneer of online trading mechanisms. Mr. Parikh is a Business Technology leader having vast experience in strategizing, implementing and development of technology strategies and initiatives.

Mr. Parikh joins the board as an Independent Director. His appointment as Independent Director shall be for a term of five years and is subject to the approval of the shareholders. The Board now comprises Mr. Asit C. Mehta Chairman, Ms. Deena A. Mehta, Non-Executive Director, Ms. Madhu Lunawat, Non-Executive Director, Mr. Ambareesh Baliga, Independent Director, Mr. Pundarik Sanyal, Independent Director and Mr. Yagnesh Parikh, Independent Director.

Mr. Parikh has over forty years of expertise in the banking and securities markets. He is a graduate of both computer science and commerce. Mr. Parikh is a seasoned financial services professional who helped establish the biggest online trading platform. Mr. Parikh has extensive expertise in creating and implementing IT projects and strategies for the banking and financial markets. Besides, Mr. Parikh has designed and implemented technological solutions that combine efficiency and flexibility with business objectives to provide a distinct competitive advantage. Prior to this, Mr. Parikh spent more than 20 years leading business technology at the C-level and had positions with State Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities among others.
