RailTel Corporation of India Ltd receives order worth Rs. 78.58 crores

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. ("the Company") has received the work order from Centre For Railway Information Systems ("CRIS") for Procurement of Cloud Infrastructure for Next Generation Passenger Reservation System (PRS) of Indian Railways amounting to Rs. 78,58,69,348.14/- ( Incl. of Taxes) (Rupees Seventy Eight Crore Fifty Eight Lakh Sixty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Fourty Eight Paise Fourteen Only).

The contract includes Supply, Installation & Integration, Configuration and Commissioning of hardware, software and networking & security equipment for the Next Generation Passenger Reservation System in primary datacentre at Railway Internet Datacentre (RIDC), CRIS, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and in DR Data centre located at Secunderabad with Warranty Support (including ATS) for a period of 03 years from the date of Commissioning of the equipment.

The complete execution of the order should be within 52 weeks from the date of Purchase Order. Warranty Support (including ATS) of Hardware, Software, Network and Security equipment as per Schedule of Requirement shall be valid for a period of 03 years from the date of Commissioning of the equipment.

Shares of Railtel Corporation Of India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 176.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 164.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 943067 in over 7576 trades.
