Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is now equipped with 'Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System' - AVAS

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, today has announced addition of 'Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System' - AVAS for the Intelligent Electric Hybrid variants of its premium SUV - The Grand Vitara. This state-of-the-art technology is designed to help keep drivers and pedestrians safe by alerting them to the presence of a vehicle. The system works by emitting a low-level alert sound that can be heard up to five feet away from the vehicle, giving pedestrians and other nearby drivers a heads-up that a vehicle is nearby. Strengthening Maruti Suzuki's commitment to safe driving experiences, the Grand Vitara is already equipped with a host of safety features and the addition of the 'Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System' - AVAS for pedestrian safety makes it compliant with upcoming regulations.

The price change in these variants of the Grand Vitara ranges up to Rs. 4,000 (Ex-Showroom- Delhi). The new price is effective from today i.e. 17th July, 2023, 04:30 pm onwards.

Shares of Maruti Suzuki India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 9687.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 9603.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 17645 in over 3275 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 9698.00 and intraday low of 9555.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 169342216.00.
