              The Trustees of Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund have decided to distribute a dividend of Rs.6 per unit (on face value of Rs. 10) in FIPF. The record date for the same will be July 19, 2006 (Wednesday). There will be one-day book closure in the growth and dividend plans of the scheme on July 20, 2006 and hence no purchases or redemptions in the scheme on that day. All the investors registered in the dividend plan whose names appear on the register of unitholders on the record date shall be eligible for receiving the dividend. The investors in the dividend reinvestment option will be allotted units for the dividend amount at the NAV of July 21, 2006.
Please note that dividend as decided shall be paid, subject to availability of distributable surplus. Pursuant to payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy (if applicable).
