Astral Adhesives is set to strengthen its position with Bondtite's extension of its wood adhesive portfolio

Astral Adhesives, a part of Astral Limited and India's leading adhesives manufacturer, made another big leap in the adhesive category. Bondtite, the flagship brand of the company for the epoxy adhesive segment has added its existing wood adhesive product portfolio from Astral Adhesives under its brand umbrella.

Under Bondtite, Astral Adhesives will now offer a Premium White Adhesive range, Synthetic Rubber Adhesives, and also introduce an Innovative product range that will be a game changer in the segment. With this launch, Astral Adhesives will eventually phase out its existing brands - Resiwood & Resigrip from the market. The newly launched wood adhesive range will be a step up in terms of product quality as well.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Saumya Engineer, VP, Astral Limited, said, "With the integration of wood adhesives under Bondtite, we will carry a unified approach and leverage the strength of Bondtite in the market. The name Bondtite will be synonymous when it comes to bonding multiple substrates while cementing our legacy as a frontrunner in multiple ecosystems within the adhesive industry."

Bondtite as a brand enjoys a credible market presence of over 25 years and is synonymous with strength, quality, and trust. Bondtite has the widest range of epoxy adhesives in India and leads the epoxy adhesives market due to its product and quality competitiveness. With this recent addition of wood adhesives, Astral Adhesives is raising the bar many notches upward. In August 2022 Astral Bondtite was awarded the Brand of the Year title in the country by Team Marksmen.

Shares of Astral Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2097.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2086.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12751 in over 1754 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2120.65 and intraday low of 2080.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 26825302.00.
