RBL Bank today announced the appointment of Alok Rastogi, as Head of Corporate Centre. A financial services professional and an entrepreneur, Alok comes with 27 years of experience in the banking industry, as well as in establishing and expanding a technology start-up.
As a key member of RBL Bank's leadership team, Alok will lead the Operations and Client Services unit of the Bank spearheading automation of processes to improve operational efficiency and process simplification. He will also be responsible for cost optimization and transformation at the Bank level. Furthermore, Alok will be a member of the Bank's Management Committee. He will be reporting to R Subramaniakumar - MD & CEO of RBL Bank.
Alok has worked with banks for more than 16 years, handling key CXO positions at various multinational and private sector banks. He has also worked with CRISIL, where he oversaw implementing a technology-driven Centre of Excellence and capability hubs for data analytics catering to some major clients. During his entrepreneurial journey, Alok co-founded Pragmatix, a company that offered business intelligence, analytics and digital solutions to banks across multiple geographies, which was acquired by India's largest rating agency. An alumnus of IIM Kolkata, Alok is a B.E. Mechanical Engineer.
