Greenpanel Industries Ltd to expand MDF plant capacity at Chittoor

The Board of Directors of Greenpanel Industries Ltd in its meeting held today, has approved the commissioning a new MDF plant at existing manufacturing unit in chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, India with an additional installed capacity of 231,000 CBM per annum. The additional capacity will increase MDF production capacity of the company from 660,000 CBM per annum to 891,000 CBM per annum, an increase of 35%(appx.) over existing capacity. The estimated project cost is INR 600.00 crores (Rupees six hundred crores) which shall be funded by a mix of internal accruals and debt. The commercial production of the plant is expected to begin during first quarter of the Financial year 2025.

Shares of Greenpanel Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 513.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 502.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 48922 in over 3145 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 522.45 and intraday low of 502.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 25054554.00.
