Adani Wilmar Limited IPO to open on Jan 27, 2022

Adani Wilmar Limited ("AWL"), a 50:50 joint venture company between the Adani group and the Wilmar group had earlier announced the Initial Public Offering ("Issue") of shares. The red herring prospectus dated 19th January, 2022 of AWL was filed with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat ("ROC") on 19th January, 2022 and approved by the ROC on 20th January, 2022 ("RHP").

The Issue comprises of a fresh issue of new equity shares of face value of INR 1 ("Equity Shares") by AWL for an amount up to INR 36,000 million (including reservation for certain eligible employees of AWL and its subsidiaries, eligible employees of AEL and for certain eligible AEL shareholders as on the date of the RHP and as detailed in such RHP).

The Issue will be open for subscription by the public on 27th January, 2022 and shall close on 31st January, 2022.

The price band for the Issue, which will be decided by AWL in consultation with the book running lead managers, will be announced at least two working days prior to the Issue opening date i.e. 27th January, 2022.

Shares of Adani Enterprises Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1865.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1849.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 99165 in over 3146 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1879.80 and intraday low of 1844.90. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 184376102.00.
