Websol Energy System Ltd's Module approved by MNRE

Websol Energy System Limited is a listed Kolkata-based company that manufactures solar cells and modules.

The Company is one of the largest merchant manufacturers of solar cells and modules in India and the only pure-play listed solar cell manufacturer, servicing the growing needs of the country's renewable energy revolution.

Websol Module has been approved by the MNRE, Government of India under the list of "Approved Module Manufacturer (ALMM) issued by the Government of India." Also the company has received approval of its module from BIS and IEC61215.

The ALMM list and BIS certification has made Websol modules eligible to be sold in the domestic market for the project approved under the various schemes of the Government of India.

There are potential export opportunities as well. The Company has historically exported in 1992-2018 to multiple advanced countries.
