GE Shipping Ltd clarifies regarding Jag Pooja

With reference to the reported security incident in PG region on 3rd August 2021, M/s The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd, operators of the Jag Pooja (oil products tanker, Indian flag), confirm that the vessel is safe off Oman and is awaiting trading instructions. The ship was erroneously reported as being involved in the incident. This is incorrect and the company also confirmed that all its crew are safe and unharmed and the vessel is in readiness to proceed in the usual manner.

Shares of Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd., was last trading in BSE at Rs. 324.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 329.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 29837 in over 1409 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 332.55 and intraday low of 322.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9701139.
