Kajaria Ceramics Ltd to invest in SPV for solar power captive consumption

The Board of Directors of Kajaria Ceramics Ltd at its meeting held today, have accorded its in-principle approval for making investment upto Rs. 264 Lacs in the equity shares of an entity (i.e. Special Purpose Vehicle), to be formed by CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Private Limited for solar power captive consumption as required under the provisions of Electricity Act, 2003, at par value, subject to applicable laws and authorised the Management Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company for taking all necessary actions regarding the above said investment.

Shares of Kajaria Ceramics Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1001 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 994.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5100 in over 720 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1010 and intraday low of 993.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5093207.
