Ashok Leyland Ltd Board recommends final dividend of Rs. 0.60

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today have recommended for the approval of the shareholders a final dividend of 0.60 paise per equity share of Re.1/- each for the financial year ended March 31, 2021. The said dividend, if declared at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting ('AGM'), shall be paid on or before 7th October, 2021 to the shareholders whose name stands on the Register of Members and as beneficial owners in the depositories as on as on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

The seventy second AGM of the shareholders of the Company is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 and the Register of Members will be closed from Thursday, September 2, 2021 to Wednesday, September 8, 2021 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of determining the Members who are eligible to receive the final dividend, if any declared by the shareholders at the AGM.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.118.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 119.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 949621 in over 5155 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 120.5 and intraday low of 117.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 112952528.
