Trading in equity shares of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd suspended

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (BSE Scrip Code: 511072, NSE Scrip Code: DHFL; ISIN: INE202B01012) vide its announcement dated June 08, 2021 had announced the approval of the resolution plan by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench which provides for delisting of equity shares of the Company.

No value was attributable to the equity shares as per the liquidation value of the Company estimated by registered valuers appointed under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) Regulations, 2016. Further, Company has also mentioned that the written order of the NCLT approving the Resolution Plan is still awaited and all disclosures made remain subject to such orders.

Hence, the security will be suspended from trading w.e.f. June 14, 2021 (i.e. closing hours of trading on June 11, 2021) from both National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Shares of DEWAN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.16.7 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 18.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 588501 in over 2770 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 16.7 and intraday low of 16.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9827966.
