Surplus land and assets of BEML to be demerged to subsidiary

Ministry of Defence (MoD) have announced that the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and NITI Aayog have concurred to the proposal of Incorporation of Wholly Owned Subsidiary [WoS] of BEML Limited for Demerger of surplus land and asset as part of BEML's strategic disinvestment process undertaken by Government of India.

Shares of BEML LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1330 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1325.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 60186 in over 2538 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1346 and intraday low of 1316. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 80363746.
