Ashok Leyland Limited updates on plant operations during June 2021

Ashok Leyland Limited had earlier announced about the closure of its plants in the month of May 2021 due to COVID 19 pandemic. The plants are still not fully operational due to lock down that is ongoing in the states where the plants are located.

The company expects the opening up announcements by the respective state governments in a phased manner, resulting in impact of our operations in the month of June 2021 also. The demand scenario is still to pick up due to lock down.

In view of the above, the company expects its plants to be operational only for 5-10 days, for the month of June 2021.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.123.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 124.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 496942 in over 3617 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 125.7 and intraday low of 123. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 61666592.
