Johnson Controls assists India's fight against COVID-19, contributes Oxygen Concentrators for the Country

Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, and parent company of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Ltd. and Johnson Controls (India) Private Limited is contributing to the Government of India's fight against the COVID crisis through USISPF (US India Strategic Partnership Forum). Johnson Controls is making a significant contribution towards the purchase of critical medical equipment providing much-needed supplies to homes and hospitals throughout the country.

Mr. George Oliver, Chairman and CEO, Johnson Controls and a member of the Board of USIPF acknowledging the current situation, said: "While the world has navigated the COVID-19 pandemic for more than one year, the current situation in India is especially concerning. Our thoughts are with our colleagues in India, their families and their communities. This donation underscores how health and safety is our top priority at Johnson Controls. We will continue to stand together as One Team".

This is in line with Johnson Controls' values of sustaining the communities where we are present, and a continuation of the pandemic related relief work that our India entities have been implementing over the past year.

Shares of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.2329.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2357.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1674 in over 531 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2429 and intraday low of 2300. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3917449.
