Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd updates on Madhya Bharat Power Corporation Ltd

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd has announced w.r.t. 113 MW (2*56.5 MW) Hydro Power Plant installed by M/s. Madhya Bharat Power Corporation Ltd. (MBPCL) - a subsidiary of the Company.

MBPCL has received all requisite approvals for capacity enhancement of the plant from 96 MW to 113 MW and the 1st unit of 56.5 MW has been synchronized with the grid in the evening hours on 18th April 2021.

The Second unit is expected to be synchronized with the grid this week. The same will be announced on synchronization.

The plant will commence full load commercial operation after a short shutdown to attend the deficiencies observed during the trial run.

Shares of SARDA ENERGY & MINERALS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.431.6 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 440.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 15223 in over 704 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 450 and intraday low of 427.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6696100.
