Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd's CASA jumps 41% QoQ and 154% YoY as of March 31, 2021

Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited has announced the details regarding bank's Deposits, Advances and other information for the quarter / year ended March 31, 2021:

Gross Advances stood at Rs. 17,896 crores (provisional) as of March 31, 2021, up 3% QoQ from Rs. 17,373 crore as of December 31, 2020 and up 16% YoY from Rs. 15,367 crore as of March 31, 2020.

Disbursements for the quarter (period ending March 31, 2021) was at Rs. 2,535 crores (provisional), up 3% QoQ from Rs. 2,461 crore as of December 31, 2020 and up 5% from Rs. 2,405 crore as of March 31, 2020.

Total Deposits were at Rs. 16,391 crores (provisional) as of March 31, 2021, up 3% QoQ from Rs. 15,862 crore as of December 31, 2020 and up 52% YoY from Rs. 10,788 crore as of March 31, 2020.

CASA was at Rs. 5,613 crores (provisional) as of March 31, 2021, up 41% QoQ from Rs. 3,967 crore as of December 31, 2020 and up 154% YoY from Rs. 2,208 crore as of March 31, 2020.

CASA Ratio stood at 34% (provisional) as of March 31, 2021 as against 25% as of December 31, 2020 and 21% as of March 31, 2020.

Note: The numbers mentioned above as on March 31, 2021 are provisional unaudited numbers and is subject to review / examine by the Audit Committee and Board of Directors and are subject to review by the Statutory Auditors of the Bank.

Shares of Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 57.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 58.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 0.20 lakh shares.
