Ashok Leyland Limited's March 2021 sales grow 710% YoY

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of March 2021. The company has reported 710% YoY increase in sales during March 2021 at 17231 units as against 2126 units in March 2020. Domestic sales was 809% higher in March 2021 at 15761 units as compared to 1734 units in March 2020.

LCV sales was up 1661% YoY at 6130 units in March 2021 as against 348 units in March 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 1928% YoY to 5860 units during March 2021, as compared to 289 units in March 2020.

M&HCV sales increased 524% YoY to 11101 units in March 2021, as against 1778 units in March 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 59% YoY to 1427 units in March 2021 as compared to 899 units in March 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 1001% YoY at 9674 units, as against 879 units in March 2020.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 585% YoY at 9901 units, as compared to 1445 units in March 2020. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 921% to 8784 units in March 2021 as against 860 units in March 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 91% to 1117 units in March 2021, as compared to 585 units in March 2020.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.113.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 113.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 798623 in over 4089 trades.
