JSW Hydro Energy Limited to raise $750 mn green bonds

The Board of Directors of JSW Energy Ltd at its meeting held on March 26, 2021 has approved the issuance of Green (subject to certification) Bonds by JSW Hydro Energy Limited, the Company's material subsidiary ("JSWHEL").

The board noted the raising of long term funds through the issuance of non-convertible, senior, secured, fixed rate green (subject to certification) bonds in the international markets for an amount upto USD 750 million, subject to market conditions and receipt of necessary approvals by JSWHEL. The detailed disclosure will be made at the time of undertaking the issuance, as required under applicable law.

Shares of JSW Energy Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.87.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 83.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 652740 in over 1326 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 88.05 and intraday low of 83.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 55918042.
