Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd has announced senior level changes and appointments.

Mr.Sanjay Sinha has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) with effect from the 18th Jan 2020

He has about 35 years of Industry experience in prominent organizations including Indo Rama Synthetics, JCT Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd.

Mr Sinha's last assignment was with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), where he has worked for about 21 years. In RIL, Mr.Sinha has served as the Sector Head for Aromatics business and as Sector Head of Intermediates. Mr.Sinha has led various businesses and senior functions including Profit Centre Head, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain, Export, Production, Project management and Quality enhancement programs.

He strongly believes in the importance of customer satisfaction, process orientation, team building and continuous improvements in quality and efficiency. He has been educated as an Enginer and in advanced Business Management courses.

Mr Sinha takes over from Mr C.G. Sethuram the current CEO of TCL.

Mr. C.G. Sethuram, moves to the senior position of Group CEO-TCL, where he will lead Strategic planning, Diversification, New Initiatives, Organisational improvement and various Oversight functions across TCL.

Mr.N.S.Mohan joins TCL as President Manufacturing. Mr Mohan has with over 40 years of Industry experience in various reputed organisations including Grasim Inustries, DCW Ltd, Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals Ltd and Chemplast Sanmar Ltd.

Mr.Mohan has handled various functions including Operations and Project management in industries such as Chloro Alkali & PVC, Fertilizer, Speciality Chemicals, etc.

His last assignment was with Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals as Chief Operating Officer. In Chemplast Sanmar he held the position of Chief Executive - Operations.

Mr Mohan takes over from Mr PMC Nair, who continues as Executive Director on the Board of TCL.

Mr.S.Ilango has joined TCL as Executive Vice President- HR and TQM. He is a Mechanical Engineer, and a Post Graduate from NITIE, Mumbai. He has over 30 years of experience in organizations like L&T, SRF Ltd and SundaramClayton, in various functions including Operations, Production planning, HR & Process improvement.

His last assignment was with Sundaram-Clayton Ltd as head of HR & TQM for four group companies.

In TCL, as head of HR & TQM he will manage competency building, leadership development, strategic HR, and process improvement programs.

Shares of THIRUMALAI CHEMICALS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.95.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 98.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 65702 in over 840 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 99 and intraday low of 94.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6343020.
