TIPS Industries Ltd to explore demerger of film business

The Board of Directors of TIPS Industries Ltd at their meeting held today i.e. on January 5, 2021, has considered and in-principally agreed to explore demerger of film business of Tips Industries Limited into separate entity.

The demerger committee formed by the Board will appoint the valuer, merchant banker for fairness opinion and other intermediaries for this purpose.

The Board on receipt of the valuation report will study, discuss and initiate the next steps.

Shares of TIPS INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.419.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 438.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 56055 in over 2774 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 470.5 and intraday low of 405.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 24517591.
