Wonderla Kochi to reopen for public from 24th December onwards

Wonderla Holidays Ltd., India's leading amusement park chain, today announced reopening of the theme park in Kochi starting 24th December 2020. Visitors can enjoy a special reopening offer of Rs. 699 inclusive of GST, with access to all rides, unlimited times. The park will be open every day during festive period from 24th December 2020 to 3 rd January 2021 from 11 am onwards.

As per the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and the Ministry of Health, Wonderla in Kochi will operate at a reduced daily capacity. Visitors are encouraged to book their tickets online on www.wonderla.com, with options for advance booking as well. The online booking portal is functional from today, 15th December 2020, onwards.

Commenting on the launch, Arun Chittilappilly, Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd., said, "We are delighted to resume operations after more than 8 months. We received positive reception to the reopening of our theme park in Bangalore, boosting our confidence to resume operations in Kochi, with all necessary precautions in place. We are following all the safety standards and guidelines issued by Ministry of Health".

To follow the safety and hygiene measures, all the staff at Wonderla Kochi are mandated to wear masks. Floors are marked to ensure guests can maintain social distance in rides, restaurants, queue areas and kiosks. Common areas are sanitized every day using chlorine solution of 1% and the rides are sanitized frequently with approved chemicals. Automatic hand sanitizers are provided at all rides, restaurants, changing rooms and other entry points. Separate bins have been placed for disposal of masks, gloves, and hand tissues. Online chemical dosing is monitored every two hours for maintaining adequate chlorine level in water.

Prior to opening its doors to public, Wonderla observed 'Warriors Week' in Bangalore and is replicating the same in Kochi from December 20th to 23rd, inviting frontline workersto visit the park with their families or friends. The company has now started operations of its theme park and resort in Bangalore.

Shares of Wonderla Holidays Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.210.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 212.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5531 in over 258 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 211.55 and intraday low of 206. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1151986.
