RITES wins 'SKOCH Gold Award' for Response to Covid-19

RITES Ltd., a Miniratna (Category - I) Schedule 'A' Public Sector Enterprise, has won the SKOCH Gold Award (Response to Covid-19) at the 68 th SKOCH Summit on November 28.

RITES Ltd. was also conferred the 'Beacons of Hope-Order of Merit' Award for Bogibeel Bridge Project, India's longest rail-cum-road bridge, on the Brahmaputra river in Dibrugarh, Assam.

The awards are testimony to RITES' commitment to support the nation and its people, ensure the well-being of its workforce & associates and contribute to the ecosystem that nurtures it, during these challenging times. These also acknowledged RITES' efforts in providing state-of-the-art technical and innovative solutions to major infrastructure projects of the country and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of essential services, including power supply to Indian Railways, during the Covid-induced lockdown.

The awards were presented by SKOCH Group, India's leading think tank dealing with socio-economic issues with a focus on inclusive growth since 1997.

Shares of RITES Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.248.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 246.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23268 in over 1196 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 250.4 and intraday low of 245.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5788823.
