Multiplex Sector - Delhi Government allow reopening of theatres - Angel Broking

"The Delhi Government has given approval to reopen theatres from tomorrow. Delhi is one of the key states contributing to revenue for the multiplex industry. We believe within a couple of weeks all states will give approval to reopen theatres. Approval in the state of Maharashtra is very important to screen movies, as it is the highest revenue contributing state for both the listed players PVR and Inox Leisure. Diwali being a festive period brings good box collection for the industry, so it will be important for the industry to get State Government approval few days before Diwali. We believe most anticipated movies such as 83, Sooryavanshi will plan their release when theatres are opened in almost all the states."
