"Market witnessed a volatile session, but closed in the green post gap up opening, backed by strength in IT and Metal stocks. Nifty ended the day @11503, up 86 points. Advances outnumbered Declines by 5:3, with TCS, Wipro & Tata Steel being the Top 3 Nifty gainers. Amongst the Top 3 Nifty losers, were Bajaj Finserv, Zee and Shree Cement. Overall, Nifty has been displaying bullish momentum over past few trading sessions, with key resistance seen around the 11600-11650 zone whereas immediate support is seen around 11200-11250 levels."

"Sensex and Nifty started the week on a strong note by closing up by 277 points (0.71%) and 86 points (0.76%) respectively. Nifty IT, best performing index for the day, continues touching new life time high. Nifty IT, Nifty Metal and Nifty Pharma rose by 3.47%, 2.55% and 1.70% respectively. Top gainers of the Nifty were TCS (7.23%), Wipro (6.68%) and Tata Steel (4.75%). TCS rose sharply as the board is going to consider the share buyback plan. Top losers of the Nifty were Bajaj Finserv (2.85%), Shree Cements (2.32%) and Bharti Airtel (1.83%). Global cues were positive as Dow Futures, Nasdaq Futures and FTSE were up by 0.53%, 0.96% and 0.62% respectively."
