Members of Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd reject appointment of Sri Sunil Gurbaxani as MD & CEO

The shareholders of Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd have voted against the proposal to 'approve the appointment of Sri Sunil Gurbaxani as Managing Director & CEO of the Bank'. 42 members with 7,25,08,496 votes or 90.49% of the total number of valid votes caste have voted against the resolution for the above appointment. Only 112 members with 76,21,692 votes or 9.51% voted in favour of the appointment.

Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.12.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 12.47. The total number of shares traded during the day was 37665 in over 164 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 12.6 and intraday low of 12.3. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 466962.
